What can osteopathy do in pudendal nerve entrapment syndrome?
The first thing, we must be clear in the vision of the Osteopath that this takes the person in an integral way and not by parts or partial.
Then our protocol development will be; In the first instance in a good and fine evaluation or physical examination, also taking your emotionality as a reference, the questionnaire in order to better define all the implicit parameters.
• Postural evaluation and their respective views.
• Gait cycle.
• Standing test
• Lateral tilt
• Coxofemoral
• EIAPS.
• Lumbar spine
• Dowing test.
• Gillet's test.
• Pinch test rolled in compromised area.
From the first session, our objective will be the release of the soft tissues involved in the pudendal nerve entrapment syndrome.
• Release of Psoas Iliaco falsely shorter leg.
• Ilio-lumbar ligaments.
• Sacro iliac groove.
• Tuberous sacrum.
• Jones techniques.
• They can apply the Neuromusculoskeletal Reeducation Method (Prone Standing Variant).
• General correction of Osteopathy.
All this treatment will take a minimum of 8 to 20 sessions, which must be evaluated in each session performed.
This is a general guideline from my experience, which can be modified according to each person who tries to incorporate more technical tools and crafts.
I want to thank my friend and colleague of Profession Jose Enrique Garcia for sharing his knowledge to make this pathology more visualized since, he has been researching and developing for many years, a great protocol and approach on the entrapment of the Pudendo nerve, in addition with a Mandala publishing publication, for me personally he is a great Osteopathic Professional in this SANP Field
